Most people who start therapy feel unsure of whether they can truly find a safe space to be themselves, and when you’re a member of an oppressed community, that’s even more of a potential issue. Maybe you know you'd be happier if you made changes, but it feels safer and more comfortable to handle shit yourself or maybe you feel like you could be more fulfilled but don't know how to start.

Stuck in a rut and feeling like you need to untangle your own brain, it may seem like life is being wasted on questioning instead of doing.

My name is Kristina Jones, and I am a bi woman and affirming therapist who is here to help.

How therapy works

Therapy with me consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you go deeper into yourself and learn what you really need. I will ask questions and share thoughts when it's helpful. I don’t just sit there and stare at you; I play an active role.

I provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing what you’re dealing with. I help you explore your inner world and really get to the core of what you’re feeling and how I might be able to guide you forward.

Therapy can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
