Internal Family Systems Therapy
Past trauma can show up in many different ways, from deep sadness to overwhelming worry to people-pleasing behavior. It can even come up when you're just very innocently scrolling through social media and the algorithm hits on something that feels a little too close to home.
Trauma-informed therapy helps you move forward with your life in a way that is caring and thoughtful. Internal Family Systems therapy specifically, which I use, can help you uncover strength you thought was long gone but was actually inside you all along.
Mixed-Neurotype Couples Therapy
Everybody deserves to have their needs met in a relationship. Trying to do that when either you or your partner or both of you are neurodivergent? There’s no easy guidebook for that. So that’s where I can come in and help you move through some of the rougher patches.
Neurodiversity-affirming couples therapy isn’t easy, but it is worth it. You deserve a relationship where both of you feel heard and cared for. When you establish a better system of communication and accommodation for both you, everyone in the relationship wins.
Therapy for Autistics & ADHDers
Autistics and ADHDers often encounter a unique set of barriers in daily life. Sometimes that looks like having trouble getting tasks accomplished, and sometimes it looks like a deep sense of loneliness and feeling unseen. These things can lead to additional layers of trauma throughout life.
I know from experience as an AuDHDer what those barriers are like. To put it bluntly: they’re fucking hard to overcome. So instead of trying to "fix" you, I focus on working with you and your unique brain to help you live as authentically as possible.
LGBTQIA+ & Gender Affirming Therapy
Exploring your gender and/or sexuality is hard enough without knowing it's being legislated against by old white dudes who don't know shit. You might feel overwhelmed with trying to find a therapist who won't judge you or assume you're just going through a phase.
An affirming therapist can help you with all of your problems, whether they're related to sexuality and/or gender or just some family stuff you need to work on. Minus all that negative, judgey energy you don't need.
